Sometimes, a student may need to resubmit an assignment. They may have uploaded the wrong file, made an error in their submission, or need to add more content. As the instructor, you can manually reassign the assignment to alert the student they need submit another attempt.
To reassign an assignment, you must first ensure the assignment meets the requirements for reassigning, then follow the steps to reassign the assignment within Speedgrader.
Reassigning can only be done for assignments—it cannot be done for a graded quiz or graded discussion. To learn how to give a student an extra attempt in quizzes, see our tutorials, Add Additional Time or Attempts for a Student in Classic Quizzes, or Add Additional Time or Attemps for a Student in New Quizzes.
