Add a Grading Scheme to an Assignment

Last updated on October 19, 2021

In your course, you may prefer to use a personalized grading scheme. You can assign different grading schemes to your assignments and fine-tune those schemes to fit the needs of your course. These schemes can be as complex or simple as you like to reflect how you are evaluating your students’ work.

Please note that a Grading Scheme is different from a Rubric. The latter conveys detailed information of the criteria of the assignment, while the former simply governs how grades are displayed to the student.
