Turn on Live Captions in MS Teams Mobile

Microsoft Teams has the ability to generate live captions of your synchronous meetings or lectures. Follow the directions below to enable them via your mobile device.

Directions

1. Open Microsoft Teams on your mobile device.
2. Click the Calendar icon on the lower right.
3. Click the More Options Menu (three dots) and find calendar if it’s not visible on the lower bar.
4. Locate the meeting you wish to join.
5. Tap the link to open the meeting invite.
6. Click Join.
7. Click Join new to join the meeting.
8. Click the More Options Menu (three dots) button when the meeting starts.
9. Scroll down and select Show live captions.
10. Captions will now appear on your screen when anyone speaks.
11. Touch more options (three dots).
12. Select Hide live captions to turn live captions off.
