Turn on Live Captions in MS Teams

Microsoft Teams has the ability to generate live captions of your synchronous meetings or lectures. Follow the directions below to enable them via your mobile device.

Directions

  1. Open Microsoft Teams on your mobile device.
  2. Click the More Options Menu (three dots) button to make sure that you are in the Calendar view.
  3. Tap the link to Join the Live Event/meeting.
  4. Click the More Options Menu (three dots) button when the meeting starts.
  5. Click the Turn on Live Captions button.
