One of the easiest ways to keep your course running smoothly is to schedule a recurring meeting in Teams. This will enable you to meet with your students for live lectures, discussions, or other class activities. Follow the steps below to schedule a meeting for your MS Teams Class. Directions
- Go to the Faculty and Staff Hub.
- Click Quick Links.
- Click Office 365 (Email and More)
- Click the Apps Icon (9 dot array) in the top left of the screen.
- Click Teams from the list of options.
- You can also use the Microsoft Teams Desktop app on your computer.
- Select the Teams tab on the left side of the screen to open the Teams area.
- Select the Class you want to set a recurring meeting for.
- Click the downward arrow next to the Camera icon in the upper right part of the screen.
- Select Schedule a Meeting from the drop-down menu.
- Type in a Title, for example, “Class Meeting.”
- Set the Date and Time.
- Click Does not repeat.
- Select Weekly from the drop-down menu.
- Select often the meeting will repeat using the “Repeat every” drop down boxes.
- This will automatically set as repeat every 1 week.
- Select the Days of the Week the meeting will occur.
- If the meeting will be more than once a week, select all the days the meeting will happen. Any repeat settings will apply to all days selected.
- Click Select date next to End to select the date for the last meeting.
- Click Save.
- Type in any Meeting Details in the text box.
- Click on Send in the upper right part of the screen. This will send an email to each of your students to accept the calendar invite.
